Diagnostic Features
Fruits that have a central seed surrounded by a membraneous, flat wing. The base of the wing is asymmetrical, the top is rounded. Veins radiate out from the central seed and terminate at the margin of the wing.

These are typically found as isolated fruits, although a single specimen has been found at McAbee that shows a pair of them attached to a pedicel. Similar fruits are found in many of the other Okanagan Highlands floras.
